Chris Chorak, founder and owner of Presidio Sport & Medicine, brings a holistic approach to her work, prioritizing the needs of patients, clients, and staff. With over 30 years of experience in physical therapy and athletic training, she launched Presidio in 1997 to inspire lifelong wellness and fitness. Her clinic fosters a supportive, team-oriented environment, encouraging perseverance and passion for health.

An accomplished endurance athlete and former triathlete, Chorak has completed over 100 events, including Ironman and Escape from Alcatraz. She’s active with the North Bay Aquatics Masters Swim Team and the Dolphin Club and finds a balance between her career, family, and personal well-being as the mother of twin boys. A graduate of Northwestern’s School of Medicine and Purdue University, she holds a physical therapy license in California and is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association.


Chorak’s community involvement includes co-creating The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Team-N-Training Triathlon program, providing injury consultations, and volunteering at the Hawaii Ironman Medical Tent. Her latest passion is empowering young athletes at the Bay School, where she serves as an athletic training consultant. She advocates for lifelong fitness and self-management of injuries.
