Our experienced massage therapists will customize each session by incorporating different modalities that address your specific and changing needs. You will work directly with your therapist to help design the massage that’s right for you. Some techniques that may be used include:
Sports Massage: Uses multiple techniques to help in healing strained muscles and allows healthy muscles to reach peak performance with less risk of injury
Active Release Techniques®: A massage technique that treats abnormal tissues by combining precisely directed tension with very specific patient movements
Swedish Massage: Uses long, flowing strokes, is typically gentle and relaxing, and is helpful in reducing pain and joint stiffness
Myofascial Release: Uses long stretching strokes with compression, and is helpful in releasing the fascia from muscles and increasing the range of motion
Trigger Point / Neuromuscular Therapy: Uses moderate pressure on trigger points to break their cycles of referred pain
Deep Tissue: Uses a series of slow, deep strokes that focus on the deeper layers of muscle tissue, and is helpful in releasing chronic tension in the body
Prenatal Massage: Designed to meet your specific prenatal needs, starting with a comfortable place to lie on our prenatal massage table with belly cutout and support.
