Shockwave Treatment

Shockwave therapy is a non-invasive treatment lasting 5-10 minutes that uses acoustic waves to target chronic musculoskeletal pain. It works by stimulating the body’s natural healing response, increasing blood flow, and reducing pain—without incisions or injections. Each session is brief and purposeful, guided by your therapist to support lasting relief and improved movement

At Presidio Sport & Medicine, shockwave therapy is an additional service in conjunction to your PT treatment plan for a separate cost. Patients must first be evaluated by a physical therapist to ensure the treatment is appropriate.
