Myofascial Release Treatment

Myofascial Release (MFR) is a safe and effective hands-on technique that involves applying varying levels of sustained pressure into myofascial tissue restrictions. It is a form of decompression, stretching and balancing that has a profound effect on the body’s tissues at a deeper level. MFR uses a complete range of pressures from “off the body” energy work to light, deep and very deep pressure when it is appropriate.

Sessions are one-on-one, with Kamal Thind, PT, DPT in our Mill Valley Clinic. Kamal understands that a sense of centeredness and inner calm plays a vital role in healing. During these calming and relaxing sessions, your body guides the process, while Kamal facilitates movement to help it find positions where it can naturally heal itself.

Cost:
This is a self-pay service that is not billed through insurance. A 55-minute session is $185.
